Old prison San Anton Cartagena

Residency-base for international artists who will live and work there.  The site becomes a ‘hub’ for creative, educational and artistic activities,  a space for temporary exhibitions, installation and events such as seminars and lectures.  This ties also in with the prospected re-conversion of the prison as workshop centre for current and former inmates of the Murcia detention centre and the prefiguration of the old prison as a mediated reality between ‘free’ and ‘disciplined’ citizens.

Artists include: María Ruido (Spain); Danilo Correale (Italy); Ariel Richman (Germany/ Isreal/ South Africa); Filipa Cesar (Germany / Portugal),Thierry Geoffroy / Colonel ((Ageria/France/Denmark) , Abed Anouti(Denmark/Lebanon), Khaled Hafez (Egypt), David Rych,  Anders Eiebakke and Brumaria.
